THE GARDENS OF THE KRÄNZELHOF

Inspired by the wonderful symbiosis of art and nature on a journey through the gardens of southern England, we decided to enrich our winery with an art garden.

In 2006 we opened the first part of the 7 gardens.

Today our garden landscape covers around 2 hectares and offers a stage for changing exhibitions of national and international artists. The magic of the gardens arises from the variety of moods. Along the paths that meander through trees, bushes, small water landscapes and the maze, you will always discover new, magical places that enchant in their simplicity and silence.

There is no bad weather in the gardens - because they offer shady and sheltered places in sunshine and rainy weather and show themselves in a wide variety of facets, depending on the time of day and the incidence of light.

7 Gardens: Garden of Trust, Garden of Emotions, Garden of Courage, Garden of Heart and Love, Garden of Expression, Garden of Intuition, Garden of Consciousness.

Accompanying landscape architect: Bernhard Zingler.

ART GARDEN

"For me, art is an expression of inspiration; she touches me at a depth beyond what can be proven and yet contains everything.”

Franz von Pfeil

The spectrum of the selected works of art is broad and ranges from figurative to abstract. Innovative, contemporary materials such as metal, wire, glass, ceramic and plastic alternate with traditional materials such as stone, wood and bronze.

The placement of the sculptures takes center stage and makes our gardens unique. The close connection between art and nature is crucial. It is a special joy when you discover hidden works in the remote parts of the garden. These are real "wonderland moments".

The Garden Art Gallery  lives with and from our artists and supports national and international art.

The project is supported by the cultural association K.ART.

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

from 27.04.until 10.11.2024

The exhibition aims to inspire visitors while encouraging them to explore the connections between art, nature and the metamorphoses in human life. In a world of constant change and transformation, art offers a unique insight into the processes of metamorphosis.

"Everything only changes, nothing dies." Ovid - Metamorphoses

This quote forms the starting point for the art exhibition "METAMORPHOSIS", which cordially invites artists from the Trentino-Alto Adige region and beyond to explore the theme of metamorphosis.
The exhibition focuses on the many facets of change and transformation as they manifest themselves in nature, such as the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly.  Here, the door is opened to artistic creativity and no limits are set, whether it is works that depict the metamorphosis itself or that have undergone a transformation in contact with nature or have been given new life through upcycling.

Artists: Burchia Peter, Burchia Susanne, Mayr Clara, Oberkircher Patrik, Pan Laura, Perkmann Elias, Senoner Fabrizio, Sieff Matthias, Trettel Ariel, Tschurtschenthaler Florian, Abbaldo Mariagrazia & Albertelli Paolo, Geiser Siegmund, Hartl Monika, Hell Martin, Höllrigl Michel, Langer Jan, Loewit Georg, Mikyta Sveto, Morgavi Guido, Moroder Indra, Runggaldier Hermann Josef.

Thanks: Special thanks go to all our sponsors and their support, without which the exhibition would not be possible.
